Rita Valenzuela
Director of Marketing
Rita Valenzuela graduated from the University of Arizona Summa Cum Laude with a degree in Philosophy, Politics, Economics, and Law (Eller Business Economics Emphasis) in May of 2021. It should be noted that Valenzuela was the first one from her family to graduate college and high school. With a combination of resilience and a strong work ethic, Valenzuela earned multiple rigorous awards, namely, outstanding student or “Bahti Award” of the University of Arizona of the Senior Graduating Class of 2021.
During her academic career she was a marketing assistant for both the Office of Diversity and Office of Multicultural Center of the University of Arizona. Valenzuela’s expertise was primarily web developing, graphic designs, content creation, newsletters, and writing emails. Valenzuela managed to help the Office of Multicultural Center to gain hundreds of followers on Instagram with her engaging graphics and dictation. In addition the emails created by Valenzuela for the Office of Multicultural Center generated over 50% click rate with over thousands of recipients.
As of June 2021 Valenzuela was named Marketing Director of MITA-AZ holding the responsibility for marketing on the website, marketing campaigns, newsletters, and social media.
